Weekly Announcements - Week of 3.30.2026

Panther Band & Guard Family,

First off, congratulations to our Varsity Winter Guard on a spectacular season this spring. We know how hard you all work and are so proud of you!

As we head into April, our calendar (in some ways) feels just as packed as it did in the fall semester. Moving closer to UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation, we are opting for a few extra full band rehearsals in lieu of sectionals. These have been updated on the band calendar and the Weekly Announcements Google Doc.

Tomorrow, at 8 AM, our band placement audition material will go live on www.lhpantherband.org. As in years past, the audition consists of a few excerpts and as many scales as students can play.

Parents, we would love to see you at our upcoming General Band Booster Meeting on April 7 at 6:30 PM! This is where the Band Boosters will present next year's proposed budget for approval.

All band performance times for UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation have been updated on the calendar. (All bands perform on April 15). We have tentative itineraries made but are holding off on posting those until we know our proposed travel times work with LHISD Transportation.

Once we have squared that away, we will post those itineraries. We would love to see as many of you as possible at Leander HS on April 15 to support our musicians!
