Weekly Announcements - Week of 3.9.2026

Panther Band & Guard Family,

First off, a huge thank you to everyone who helped us make this past Saturday's mulch delivery such a resounding success. I've been involved with mulch fundraisers since 2016 and this past weekend was BY FAR the most organized and smoothest delivery process I've been a part of. To everyone who helped sell, plan, deliver, and anything I'm missing, thank you so much for your help.

Second, this Tuesday is our only leadership meeting for any and all students interested in trying out for any of our three student leadership teams - Marching Leadership, Logistical Leadership, and Executive Council Leadership.

At this meeting, we'll go over the entire audition process - dates, paperwork, audition process, etc., so if you're even remotely curious, please plan on attending! Setting the student leadership teams is one of the most important things we do as a program and we would love for you to be part of it!

Finally, we are well into our UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation preparations. To keep everyone informed of the long-term plan, the Wednesday after Spring Break is our Pre-UIL Concert. All three of our performing ensembles will be going to UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation three weeks after our Pre-UIL Concert.

All of that being said, sectional and class attendance is critical, especially as we continue to tighten up the ensemble aspects of our performances. Please make every effort to be in attendance so we can keep pushing forward together.
